In the past fortnight I visited Campbell Square Police Station for a meeting with the new Assistant Chief Constable of Northamptonshire Police, Ash Tuckley.
We discussed the work Northamptonshire Police are currently undertaking in the local community in addition to Ash’s new role as the new chief officer in charge of local policing across Northamptonshire.
I consider discussing crime policy with these officers to be very important, and have visited and supported our local police numerous times over the years.
Thanks to government investment Northamptonshire Police now have nearly 1,500 officers and are the largest they have ever been. I will always support the work of our great local law enforcement in Northampton and across the country, and will continue to offer them with my steadfast support.
